Investing with Jamie

If you are looking for alternative investments to the stock market, then you should consider 'bloodstock pinhooking'.

Bloodstock is the term used for thoroughbreds bred to race, and Jamie Railton specialises in two key bloodstock pinhooking investments.  The company offers a unique opportunity for investors to acquire a portfolio of high quality bloodstock.

Foals to Yearlings
Foals are purchased in the autumn of the year of their birth.  Over the next 9 to 11 months, the foals are raised by Jamie Railton at the most appropriate site, where they are prepared for sale at the Yearling Sales.

Yearlings to Two-Year-Olds
One-year-old thoroughbreds, known as yearlings, are purchased at the Yearling Sales in the late summer and autumn.  The yearlings are then raised and ridden away to be sold as unraced two-year-olds at the Breeze-Up Sales the following spring.

As with any high yield investments it is also high risk.  As you will see from our Track Record not every horse makes a profit.  However, by spreading the risk and investing in a pool of horses the overall return on investment has proved profitable in recent years.

Clients become investment partners with Jamie Railton because:

  • Proven success at the sales and on the racecourse. In 2014 Jamie Railton achieved a 79% return on investment on his foal to yearling pin-hooks.
  • A meticulous and excellent horseman with an expert eye able to see the potential and value in young unraced bloodstock, along with a thorough knowledge of pedigrees and superior feed management, has been key to Jamie achieving such good results.  Added to that are specialist veterinary and farrier services second to none.
  • Transparent and regular communications with clients, through personal visits, telephone calls and a private 'partner login' area on this website.  The advantages and disadvantages of investing are made clear at the start, as are all previous results, both profitable assets and loss making assets.
  • Concentrates solely on bloodstock sales with an in-depth knowledge of all the key contacts in Europe and USA.
  • Long lasting business relationships based on trust, honesty and success.
  • Ability to intuitively analyse the markets, sellers and buyers.
  • A renowned sales consignor and expert in sales preparation - see our section on Consigning with Jamie.

All of these points help minimise the risk involved in this type of investment.
