Jamie's Story

Before my Mother’s diagnosis, my knowledge of Parkinson’s disease was very limited. However, I did know that if Mohammed Ali, one of the greatest sportsmen and spokesmen of the modern era, couldn’t defeat it, my Mother was going to struggle.

Although the care she received was second-to-none, the time between her diagnosis and when it became impossible for her to continue seemed so short. It truly showed me what an awful and debilitating disease this is. It now affects over 145,000 people just in the UK, yet the understanding of it is still fairly limited.

At Jamie Railton Sales Agency we would would like to help future sufferers and their families. If we can help raise the funds to aid research then our time is well-spent. Any help you can give us will improve the quality of life for so many people.

EMERGENCY APPEAL

The Coronavirus Crisis has dealt a double blow for charities like Parkinson's UK; firstly, many of their specialist nurses have been drafted in to help treat the virus patients and, secondly, the loss of events such as the London Marathon has meant a significant drop in funding for both research and care.

This is why we have launched Jamie's 52 Push-Up Challenge. The idea is to do as many push-ups as you can, donate a "pound for every push" here and pass it on.
