Our second yearling sale of 2022 took the JR team to Doncaster with a draft of 18 yearlings. Unfortunately after a late withdrawal due to an injury we were left selling 17 yearlings over the two day sale.
Our first lot through the ring was Lot 21 a smashing filly by Ten Sovereigns out of the winning mare Grand Zafeen and half-sister to Listed-winners Nice Name and Band Practise as well as Group-placed Zaffinah. She caught the eye of many potential buyers not only because of her strong pedigree but also her impressive physique. She sold for £110,000 to Richard Hughes being the first six-figure lot of the day.
She was also another successful pinhook for Jamie Railton being purchased at Goffs November Foal Sale for €26,000.
