Our first yearling sale of the year saw us head back to Doncaster to the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale where we offered a draft of 12 quality yearlings.

First pinhook of the year proves profitable at Goffs Premier Yearling Sale

The first day saw four yearlings go through the ring with 3 being sold.

Lot 53 Mehmas X Mimic's Memory a strong colt on offer sold for £35,000 to Richard Hughes.

Our next lot through the ring proved to be our top lot of the sale, lot 84 a smashing filly by Earthlight that was purchased by us for 62,000gns at Tattersalls Foal Sale last year sold at the fall of the hammer for £160,000 to Alastair Donald, a well deserved price.

Lot 119 Tasleet X Princess Keira was next through the ring and sold at the fall of the hammer for £16,000 to Jose Santos Racing.

The second day saw the remaining yearlings go through the ring including another six-figure results:

255 Dandy Man X Wedding Wish - £80,000 - Peter and Ross Doyle

259 Dark Angel X White Bullet - £48,000 - Joe Foley

264 Zoustar X Yimkin - £10,000 - Anthony Brooke Rankin

356 Far Above X Creme de Cremes - £24,000 - Effe Emme Caracciolo

363 Zoustar X Danehill Revival - £70,000 - G.S Bloodstock

375 Mohaather X Dixie Dreamer - £20,000 - Pegasus Bloodstock

376 Sergei Prokofiev X Dominance - £40,000 - Rabbah Bloodstock

392 Havana Grey X Enough's Enough - £100,000 - Alex Elliott

The Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale welcomed buyers from all over the world and new records were set in the sales history. The market was particularly unpredictable this year, and each consignment seemed to have both good luck and hard done by stories. This year’s sale saw a record 33 lots release 200,000gns or more. JRSA were lucky enough to sell two lots in that record breaking bracket.
