Sold for just 5,000gns at Tattersalls December Yearling Sale in 2019 to Stephen Hillen Bloodstock the five-year-old daughter of Fastnet Rock has progressed each season of her career proving to be much more valuable than her yearling price tag.
Saturday 1st July would be the day she secured that all important G1 form in the hands of Jamie Spencer flying home by 2 lengths in the contest at the Curragh, Ireland.
Jamie Spencer spoke of her run: "It's unlike her as she's never hung before. Once I saw the head-on I wasn't too concerned but you'd rather win more smoothly. I had a plan going out to jump smartly and sit third but Via Sistina bobbed the gate and it was straight to plan B. I wasn't very comfortable for the first six furlongs of the race but, once I got her around the turn into the straight and went past one on the outside, she came alive. I was in business then"
Bred by Laundry Cottage Stud, she is a daughter of Fastnet Rock, out of the unraced Galileo-mare Nigh, herself a half-sister to dual G1-winner Kingsgate Native.
