Spring Store Sale :
The Sale held in Doncaster on the 22nd of May served as real test of the market for unbroken jumping store. The event brought together buyers and sellers in search of promising prospect.
However, the clearance rate of 69% revealed that the market was not particularly robust, indicating a challenging environment for vendors looking to sell their horses. The outcome of the sale highlighted the complexities and uncertainties inherent in thoroughbred market, with fluctuations in demand and buyer preferences playing a significant role in shaping the result. The disappointment felt by many vendors underscored the volatile nature of the industry, where success and setbacks often go hand in hand.
Jamie Railton Sales company presented two horses at the sales.
- Lot 28 Great Pretender (IRE) x Sea The Future (IRE) sold for £25,000 to GOL Training.
- Lot 222 Linda's Lad (GB) x Lady Samantha (GB) sold for £15,000 to Simon Christian.
Spring HIT/PTP Sale :
We were delighted to consign a total of six horses, with five of them belonging to The Megsons. While the six horses made their way through the sale ring five of them successfully find their new owners. Unfortunately, our wildcard, which was auctioned at the close of the day, remained without a buyer.
Huge thank you to all our clients, buyers and amazing sales team Sean, Charlotte and Leah. Our next sales would be the July HIT sale.
