Goffs Premier Yearling Sale graduate Swipe Up flew home by five lengths clear of the sixteen other runners in the G3 Italian 1,000 Guineas at Capannelle on Sunday, 1st May.
Bought by Razza Latina at Goffs in 2020 for £6,000 as a yearling the three-year-old filly only ran once as a two-year-old finishing a respectable second at Capannelle. Her second ever start and first time at Group level she showed no issues securing the contest for trainer E C Racing Stable and jockey Claudio Colombi.
Bred by George Kent, Swipe Up is a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor, and out of the unraced mare Salmon Rose (Iffraaj) herself a half-sister to dual G1-winner Prince Bishop (Dubawi) and also the dam of the Group-placed Rayna’s World (Poet’s Voice).
