A bustling week at Tattersalls Autumn HIT Sale, with the successful sale of 74 horses in training. This achievement has positioned us in second place on the consignors table, with a total sales aggregate of 2,724,500 guineas.

Tattersalls Autumn HIT Sale

The Tattersalls Autumn HIT Sale was extended by an additional day this year, and our team demonstrated exceptional motivation throughout the extended period, resulting in the successful sale of a significant total of 74 horses in training.

Notably, we achieved success with six lots reaching six-figure sales, including:

  • Lot 20 Night Moon (GER) - A three-year-old son of Sea The Moon sold to Harold Kirk / WP Mullins for 100,000gns on day 1 of the sale.
  • Lot 134 Kings Valley (IRE) - A smart two-year-old colt by Territories sold to Australian buyer Ciaron Maher Bloodstock for 140,000gns.
  • Lot 675 Painters Palette (IRE) - A four-year-old highly rated son of Lope de Vega sold to Najd Stud for 165,000gns.
  • Lot 1045 Campaign Trail (IRE) - A three-year-old son of Mastercraftsman sold to Ed Bailey Bloodstock / Peter Kerr Syndicates for 200,000gns.
  • Lot 1046 Circuit Breaker (GB) - A three-year-old gelding by Nathaniel sold to Stroud Coleman Bloodstock / Jonjo O'Neill for 260,000gns.
  • Lot 1123 Humanity (IRE) - A three-year-old colt by the late Roaring Lion sold to Domeland for 240,000gns.

The Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale welcomed buyers from all over the world and new records were set in the sales history. The market was particularly unpredictable this year, and each consignment seemed to have both good luck and hard done by stories. This year’s sale saw a record 33 lots release 200,000gns or more. JRSA were lucky enough to sell two lots in that record breaking bracket.
