In December the JRSA team attended two sales at Tattersalls in Newmarket. The first of which was the December Foal Sale where 27 lots were sold. This draft was highlighted by the Lope De Vega x Snooze N You Lose colt who was purchased by Zulu Bloodstock for 150,000gns. He is an attractive colt who walked for fun and certainly looks like a racehorse.
The December Mare Sale followed straight after where the JRSA team sold 23 lots. 4 of these mares released six-figure prices. This included our sale topper, Run Away, the Black Type full sister to Blackbeard who was sold to Ecurie des Monceaux for 650,000gns. Other notable results included Group 1 producer The Paris Shrug who sold for 125,000gns to Pauline Racing Club, the well related daughter of Wootton Bassett New Beginnings who realised 120,000gns, and the 98 rated Ralph Beckett trained La Pasionaria who was purchased by Newsells Park Stud for 165,000gns.
