We are delighted to be offering an excellent draft of 20 horses at the Tattersalls February Sale over February 3rd and 4th, covering yearlings to 5 year olds, unraced to 80+ rated, with plenty of encouraging updates post the printing of the catalogue. Of particular note are the following:
MOBARHIN (Lot 261) has hit a rich vein of form since moving to Newmarket trainer Kevin Philippart de Foy. This beautifully bred colt by Muhaarar out of Fadhayyil won well over 6f in mid January at Lingfield and came within a nose of following up over course and distance two weeks later. He is a horse with a future.
THE GANGES (Lot 263), from the family of the US trained black type filly, Quattroelle (IRE), made a most encouraging debut at Newcastle last month, finishing second to a highly regarded rival, with the front two pulling well clear of the remainder. He looks a surefire winner in waiting.
HURAIZ (Lot 443), the Group 3 placed son of Sepoy looks an entry bound to attract attention. He ran arguably his best race of last year on his final start of 2021, finishing second in a very competitive handicap at Chelmsford. If he can break better from the gate his trainer feels that he has a decent race in him. He takes his racing well (10 runs since mid July 2021) and looks sure to be of interest to many.
